I have the countershaft out. No tuner shop, dealership, transmission shop in jacksonville nc will touch this. I have 1st and 2nd gear synchros and sleeve from my synchrotech kit, don't have a press. I'm told by honda and Acura they dont repair transmissions, other shops dont have a press or are scared. Aamco told me there's a 50% chance the countershaft breaks, I just find this hard to believe and their press is down..of course it is. I just find it hard to believe this task is being such a pain to complete.
1st and 2nd gear look brand new (no worn or faded teeth), but my tranny has 180,000 and I cant inspect the lining of the sleeve or synchros already on it. I'd like to get this done as everything else is being upgraded or replaced.
It's taken me long enough to gather up every part for this clutch job, but I'm ready to get to installing everything.

I'm north of Asheville, but can take care of it if you ship it to me. The countershaft won't break, that shows their lack of experience.
I didn't realize you were in NC. Good deal. I'll have to remember that when guys ask me about the location of closest Honda/Acura transmission guru.
