Default For sale: 1993 Honda Del Sol Si

If interested DM me with an offer so I get an email. I won't be actively be monitoring this all the time.

San Francisco bay area (mid peninsula)
235K miles
D16z6 engine (Si model)
5 speed stick shift
Tein-S springs (-1 1/2" drop)
EDM sun visors (rare and better than JDM)
EDM fog lights (Actually high beams, so you get 2X the coverage)
Custom 10" fiberglass sub in spare wheel hidden under the carpet (amp is noname but result sounds good to me, I'm not into boomy rap)
Red/silver trim interior added. Doors leather is known to crack, for the driver it did so I built a red cushion (see pic).
Custom grill in front
Extra light in trunk
DC header (stock eventually cracked)
Still has the original zig zag mats
Wiring for auto-dim + lights rearview mirror (but I removed it since the GM mount isn't compatible enough with the Honda boot
General Altimax tires are a few month old
Starter is new (bought a Denso, not Oreiley ****)
Alternator was replaced a few years back (also Denso)
Rear bushings all replaced including LCA, front is pending (I have the black Energy suspension kit box somewhere with the ones I didn't do).
I usually run Mobil 1 0W30 and bosh/honda/mobil oil filters
Some sound deadening of the doors

It will come with a spare roof, random spare front/rear optics I never bothered with or wanted to play with, spare seals (since they're rare I saved them from other cars), possibly more oil and filters, and spare interior parts, interior doors, carpets, etc.

This has been my project and then commuter car (~ 35mpg). I used to be an active member of TSC (TeamSolCal) as 42 (and sonyhome). It's not really been abused with hard driving, which you can tell looking where the door lock hook is attached it often cracks if the car is driven super hard. For me it's a cruiser car and a car with the most amazing rear window air cooling system. I mostly did car maintenance and cosmetic/audio and subtle/stealth mods on it. Note: I will remove and keep my front speakers after the sale. The timing belt still has a while to go (it's a honda belt I did myself on schedule).

I moved out of CA so I'd like to sell it before the registration is due. If not I'll move it to nevada and keep it another 10 years.

Issues:
The driver door was dented by some dbag at work, the paint is peeling and there's 25 years of dings. Years ago I repainted parts of the car that were turning pink, at this point the paint needs TLC to look nice, the interior is old and could use a refresh. The valves should be adjusted, the left front blinker has a small crack, the firewall water drains should be cleaned, the roof handles are becoming weak, there's an oil leak near the alternator, I replaced the vtec solenoid gasket and it may have fixed it but not 100% sure, should also change the valve cover which I think I have a spare I never installed. There's wiring for a 110V plug and a power inverter but I pulled the inverter out a while back. The driver seat has a small tear to watch, maybe fix before it expands.

Once you know the car it tends to mostly show some small maintenance quirks that are dollar or 20mn fixes. My last annoyance was the starter which I tried and failed to rebuild.

not to be an *** but...good luck trying to get $4K for that car with that mileage and color scheme interior. You might want to put your info on the pic before MODs delete the ad. No one can see it even though you posted some paper on the front license plate

No you're not being an ***, but honest.
I should just not put a price, and I should redo the photos indeed. The paper doesn't show too well.

I am open to best offers, knowing that I could get $1K from the DMV just to crunch the car.
It's a pretty good base for someone who either wants a daily driver or do a swap and build
up a car up since it wasn't abused by a teen and has a bunch of clean parts that are OEM
replacements not autozone crap.
