Hi i want to get a vtec and some more power on my d14 since its illegal do swap in my country and my friend is giving me a d16a vtec head and i will get it tuned on a p28 ecu with 240cc ingectors so anyone can help me with the parts list i need to get? What gaskets timinig belt water pump oil seals and what else? I want to get all the parts from honda so if you have the oem numbers it would be very helpful
Also what about the electric harness if i cant use the stock one what sould i get?
and what distributer i need?

 

Have you ever really looked at your block without a head? Do you know if oil return ports match the Z6 head? What about an oil orifice in the proper spot for the vtec of the head?

You can't just slap any head onto any block, you have to investigate if the head is compatible with the block or what mods are required etc etc.
