Dpfi with a y8 head?
So while trying to fix my valve cover leak, I ended up turning a mild leak into a catastrophic one by snapping a valve cover stud. Guess I got a little frisky with the ratchet and the stud wasn't having it. Anyway...
I do have a y8 head sitting around that I had pulled for a mini me swap a year or so ago but never got around to piecing the rest of the kit together, I'm wondering what the bare minimum parts I need would be to at least get the car running. I don't really care if it stays dpfi for the moment, so really, just kind of wondering if I can get away with the old dizzy and timing set up, or if I'll have to figure out a distributor and cam gear/timing belt combo before I get it back on the road. Also I can't recall what head bolts I need, I know not to reuse the originals but can't remember if I match the head or block.
Thanks guys

I’m pretty sure you can replace the studs... couldn’t be more than $5. I don’t see why the y8 wouldn’t work with DPFI but I’m no expert with that sort of Frankenstein stuff.
