Is it a good coolant for our engines and does it met the specs of Honda?
You can see more details from this link: https://www.caltex.com/content/caltex/pk/en/motorists/products/havoline-xtended-life-antifreeze-coolant-concentrate.havoline-cars.coolants.html
OP, Simple tip: Stay away from the red or orange colored coolant/antifreeze products and you will be good. Use something green or blue.
Not sure if what you meant to say is only use Honda coolant. Coolant color is not always an indicator of the specific coolant active ingredients, which is the best way to compare coolants.
And please also explain why ALL red coolants are bad. I'm open to learning something new.
I assume this is done to allow customers to match the color of the coolant used by the car manufacturer (e.g., Toyota versus Honda).
This also supports the idea that one should select a coolant by its active ingredients rather than by the color of the dye.
Yep, and those particular red and blue fluids are mixable, but don't expect to be a fly guy running coolant with purple dye. It's more likely to turn black. Lol
