Default 05 Accord no power issue

Hey all,
I have an issue that's making me crazy. 05 Accord, no power to door lock actuators or dome light until the key is turned to accessories on. Have power through to the ignition switch. I didn't think those items were run through the ignition switch and it doesn't show that on the wiring diagram.
Any insight would be appreciated.

How are you determining there is no power? What wiring diagram are you using?
Those items are controlled through one of the multiplex controllers. Is there communication? Any codes stored?

With the key off, the door will be open, no dome lights, no chime, and the remote unlock does nothing. As soon as I turn the key to accessories on, all those start working.
I have chased power through the MICU as shown on the wiring diagram (the one for door actuators and interior lights).
No codes.

No codes.
A visual observation isn't enough. What wires have you actually measured? What pin numbers on what connectors?
The lights should have measurable B+ at all times. They are ground controlled. Based on that alone Id say the MICU is bad,but Id need to confirm.

What did you use to scan the vehicle with (what model scan tool?) What is the data shown on the MICU input?
What wiring diagram are you using(Honda, Chiltons, Alldata...etc)

I haven't gone through the MICU test yet, but that's going ti be my next step. Using Alldata and a Snap-on scanner. Didn't go into MICU input, but I can check that.

Always start with a scanner on a modern vehicle. The interior lights and door locks are on the B-CAN protocol . Look at the MICU data and see if there is a an input command from the door lock actuators or the lights. Also check the status of the door switch.

As I said earlier, the lights should have constant B+ on one wire. The MICU provides the ground. (except for the vanity lights. They are chassis grounded)

***Im not sure if a Snap-On scanner will access all of the multiplex data****

[QUOTE]
so using a Snap-on Solus Ultra, it doesn't go into the MICU. I'm going to look at the pin test, but so far all I'm hearing is the MICU is faulting.
That said, if I have to replace the MICU, doesn't that then mean my keys all have to be reprogrammed?

No. Its plug and play.

***The Snappy scanner might go into the MICU,but it might be called Body Control or something similar in that scanner****
