I've heard some people disable their interior power lock switch for security reasons but I wish to keep the feature. I've heard some people relocate the switch to the center console, where can I find information on doing this?
The power locks control unit is located behind the driver's side kick panel. Two of the three wires (Grn/Wht and Grn/Orn) that control the lock switch in the door run to the power locks control unit. Tap into those two wires to relocate the switch wherever you like.

Thanks. Does that mean I could use any cheap two position momentary switch of my choosing, as long as I splice into those wires mentioned? And then would it be fine to cut the wires going to the original switch in the door to disable it?

Yes to both questions. Of course the momentary switch has three wires, one for the Grn/Wht wire, one for the Grn/Orn wire, and one for the ground wire that locally attaches to the chassis.

Sorry to bump an old thread. But I found a 5-pin rocker switch that would seem to fit perfect. Is that still going to work even though it seems like I need a 3-pin switch?

Perform continuity tests on pairs of the 5 pins with rocker in either position to determine how the switch works.
