It's been a few years since I've posted here, but I wanted to share a very significant break-through I've had with the factory lane keeping system.

I've installed some interface hardware from comma.ai and attached a Raspberry Pi 4 to issue steering commands from a custom model that uses data from the factory Bosch camera and VSA system. The results are amazing, and getting much better every day!

I hope to release this custom fork of OpenPilot in the next few weeks (free).

 

hi Gernby how are you? I've found some topics from you about the CAN-BUS from honda cars, and some old topics who a guy "almost crazy" take a s2000 honda 2006+ cluster and work hard to decode the engine coolant temperature.
In fact this guy are brazilian an passed away in early 2013 (seems adapt the s2000 cluster in a eclipse eagle talon 1995). His car are sold and taked apart, and eventualy the s2000 cluster with a lot of mods fallen in my hands (I'm from brazil too).

I saw some develepments from you and are impressive, can you send me a contact rubens.pro@gmail.com if you can help with some CAN codes?

At now, I'm develop a arduino pro micro or nano with a CAN board trying to send coolant temperature messages for this cluster! I'm know this is not the correct thread but seems a later you are done and, maybe we can solve this "mistery" about honda s2000 cluster....

This has been talked about in several venue. I would not personally go through the trouble but if you search YouTube for Open Pilot, you'll find a lot of solid testimony from people whose names you would recognize.

By the time you get into what it costs and everything you'll need, you'll realize it's not cheap. But there's sure as hell a lot of information out there saying that it really works.
