Looking at picking up an EK9 hatch, noticed a rust spot and asked the seller to check it out to see how far it's spread/eating through and he would get back to me later tonight, but from this initial pic, what do you guys think? Does it look bad, or need more pics from him to tell? Would hate to pass up on it if the seller finds out its spread farther then this, because everything else is pretty clean

 

Unfortunately with rust, it's what you dont see that is the problem.

 

Yeah...I'm worried if it's spread already, how deep it has spread internally. Guess I'll just have to be patient and wait for updates from the seller
