My 2012 Civic is due for some maintenance soon, and yesterday I received the first notice of a B13 service needed (oil, tire rotation, and ATF drain and fill) at 15% life remaining. I exited the notification on the screen, but now I can’t go 30 seconds without the notification popping up again. I’ll even let the notification stay on the screen hoping it will stop making the notification sound, but it will eventually go away, and then ding again.

I did get my car detailed a month ago which included an engine bay wash (these are professional guys who aren’t just spraying the engine bay with a pressure washer) but these guys know what they are doing.

Any idea as to why the maintenance minder repeatedly keeps alerting me to the maintenance? The oil life remaining is still at 15%. I drive a lot and it’s extremely annoying to have this sound all the time. I’ll get the maintenance done in the next couple days.

 

Change your oil and reset the oil life counter.
