03 accord 4 cylinder weird “dirt bike” noises coming from engine but i think whatever is causing it is making the exhaust sound weird also. this happens while idling but even more when accelerating. it has almost 92k miles on it. i just purchased it. it just confuses me because the car has no lights on or anything like that. runs perfectly fine. temperature is normal. just had the oil changed. but was there before that too.

 

Have you checked your exhaust pipes for any cracks/tears on it? Is it specifically coming from the exhaust or can you also hear it from the engine bay?
