Default Vtec solenoid replacement..

Hey guys do I need to replace the whole solenoid or can I just replace the the small filtered gasket? I'm just trying to clear up all my small oil leaks.. is there also an o ring?

If it is functioning and not throwing VTEC related codes but leaking... yes, you can just replace the gaskets to cure the leaking.

Well how many gaskets or o rings does it have because I can only find the one with the small mesh filter online. I read in another thread that theres 3 different types..is this right?

There is actually another top gasket (along with the filtered bottom gasket) that the dealers can't lookup in there parts catalogue. Hence they recommend replacing the whole VTEC solenoid.
