Default 99 Civic Auto Transmission. Can anything be modified on the ECU for added performance

99 civic auto, what all can be tuned/deleted from the stock ecu? Im working on a project and eliminated the evap and rear o2. Can those be deleted or will it cause a cel?

I’m not sure what all you can do with your factory ECU. I think you can get a jumper harness and convert over to an OBD1 ecu and run your car off of it.
