Icon5 B18 Swapped Delsol CODE 4!! Check Engine Light Code

I put a B18b1 with a B16 Si trans into my auto 97 Delsol.

Everything works the car starts but Its still telling me there is a CEL code 4. Ive tried an OBD1 and OBD2 harness neither worked. Ive checks resistance and pinouts and everything works as it should.

Im not using a dizzy jumper. I am using an OBD1 P75 ECU in an OBD2a I triple checked my ECU jumper and dizzy wiring and all of the pin outs are where they should be.

Wth is going on????

Any help is appreciated.

From the ECU connector, did you use a multimeter to check for a short to ground or open in both CKP wires?

What was the resistance of the CKP sensor?

No I have not but I will now. I dont diagnosis vehicles often at all so im stumped. I understand that a short to ground is as simple as it sounds but can I perform that without a test light? Could I just use the continuity tester?
Its getting late and I think Im over thinking lol.

I watched a video and the guy said to check the distributor pins and each of them were reading 360ish nothing under 350. I was told I should be seeing 300-700 ohms.

I just checked the pin outs im getting power from ecu to the dizzy wiring. I did a continuity test. On 11 and 12 both are for the CYP.

At the Dizzy plug 8 being the ground checked out fine. And the output beeped on 2, 3, and 4.

Unplug the ECU, leave everything else plugged in, check resistance and ground faults of the three distributor sensors from the ECU plug. That way you're testing through all the harnesses not just the distributor. You will need a meter that measures ohms, not simply a test light or beep tester.

Faulty wiring that swaps the polarity of the sensor could also cause bad running and/or a code, though resistance would check OK.
