Default 12.6V while driving normal?

After replacing the alternator and fixing some grounds, I think the car is somewhat back to normal.

I bought a cigarette 12v adapter to monitor the charging system while driving.

Should I expect the charging system to always read 14.35V while driving, or will it kick back to 12.6V when the battery is fully charged, or is it normal for it to be at 12.6V sometimes?

Tends to go from 12.6V to 14.35V while driving and I'm not sure if that's normal.

Normal, there are certain conditions that will drop the charge rate to conserve fuel.

Although it is normal, it was discharging more than normal. After fixing the ground cables it went back to what I thought was a normal pattern.
