This is out of a 1994 Honda Civic EX and its the original engine and transmission. I bought the car not wanting the engine/tranny, just the body of the car, and planned on doing a B16A swap.
Engine- The previous owner told me the second cylinder needs a valve stem seal. That's what it seems to me also. I did a compression check, and all 4 cylinders are 150-155psi, so I know the block is good, and the cylinder head is mostly good. It just burned some oil on start up. I drove the car, and went in reverse. As the engine warmed up, the oil burning out of the exhaust got less. I only drove the car 20 miles to make sure it worked, and because I didn't want to mess up the engine.
Transmission- shifts good and doesn't have problems. Clutch works. Motor mounts are good. Will include the shift linkages. Axels are in good condition- no torn boots or sounds.
It includes- the wiring harness, the intake and exhaust manifold, fuel rail and fuel lines, power steering pump, and all of the other small things, etc...
Asking- $450 for the engine. Here's why: hmotorsonline.com doesn't sell the D16Z6 anymore, and charges $800 for an incomplete non-vtec d16a. Hmotorsonline.com charges $700 for a d15b non-vtec. Asking- $250 for the transmission because its an original transmission from a 1994 USDM Civic EX. It is in good condition and has motor mounts, etc…
Willing to take offers on the engine and transmission. It is located near San Antonio. Low baller prices welcome, but not too low.
