z6 crank in y8?

Icon4 z6 crank in y8?

looking to do a d16y8 build but was wondering if i'm able to take a d16z6 crankshaft and install it in the y8 for more oil pressure.

Yes it will fit. Make sure to at least use a new (Genuine Honda) oil pump. You can use the D16z6 pump but it WILL NOT have the hole for the dipstick tube.

I’m a total noob to d series how does changing from one d16 crank to another give you more oil pressure??

D16y8 crankshaft has one oil port while the Z6 has 2 ports. Better oil feed...
