Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a great day!!! My name is Juan and i own a 1990 Honda Civic EX l.6L sedan; which was my brother's since 2000, I just bought from him 2 years ago! It was stolen last year and got my engine taken from it, a D16A6. I happen to run into a D16Z6 VTEC and decided to put it on. I bought the harness jumper and got it to start and run but it has no power. As soon as i hit the gas it starts to hesitate. I wonder how to adapt the original harness with no VTEC to the new engine which has VTEC. Any help guys i will greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

 

Check to see if you have a p28 ecu
open it check to see if it’s chipped.

 

ok it was chipped! Thank you!!! Now the question is: what next? If i remove it will it be good to go or get a virgin p28?
