1000+ hp K-series engine cams.. what are people using?
Interested to hear what cams people are running in 1000+ hp turbo K24 engines.
Looking to retain VTEC for a broader powerband for circuit racing.

Don't have a K-Series but have a B-Series with over a 1000whp and use Web Cam Pro's. I have no clue if they make them for K-Series or not.

Seriously,... how is this not locked yet. How often do you circuit race. That hp level is not suited for circuit racing. 1000+ is more suited for drag.

Not that im entertaining this first post, but....
the boersama civic or however its spelled. Is near 700whp i believe. Garrett has been advertising his build after switching gtx turbos and housing or something like that.
but, still... i dont even see how that 7++whp is use in such a light gutted car.

He's at 600whp, and that addresses the capability of the turbo and what they are tuned for, not exactly what he's running at every track. They aren't really running that power all the time.

Again, I talk to guys on the regular. its tuned to almost 800who, but they have several turbos at their disposal for cercertain tracks and uses.
For example, for my older vintage attack car I use both a TR3030R & a GT3588R Interceptor. Interceptor is tuned to over 730whp. But I haven't used it to that level. Garrett is just trying to copy an older PTE marketing tactic and are failing at it miserably.
At those power levels, no one really asks that or cares, anyway, as it's really more about if the engine can handle the cylinder pressures.
But that number does depend upon which GTX35 they're using at the time. In all cases be it Gen 1 or Gen 2 with the larger exhaust wheel, they're easily over 30-35psi for that level. Not that much in boost pressure, but its getting up there.
