my friend has them, and pro arms in the rear. I like them becuase you get full travel of your struts. less chance to blow them. also he can slam his car all the way down and never has any camber.

but i just like em for the saving the strut things, also rides better with the ability to travel and not bottom out the strut.

Never thought about it that way. You're talking to a guy who would never lower his car more than 1.5" anyways.

been there, done that, and i realize now they're a complete waste of money.
i've told you how to get the same effect for less than half the price, but i guess i should buy you some q-tips eh.

Default kinda like how Ike beat Tina.

there goes your whole "handling motif".

it's one or the other, if you combine them it'd be too low to drive. the accord struts lower it more than the Eibachs (1.2" drop) if you want to compare to Carlos' car. either way it'd have have way too much travel for the hiegth. not to mention you're using shorter 4g suspension on a 5g to begin with...

if my stock sized tokicos hit the body with their travel, imagine how much they'd hit/knock with more travel than that.

no matter what strut you use, you'd better buy a new grinding wheel and call Josh up...

now theres a idiot. combine something as nice as drop forks and pro arms u get the best of both worlds. a small drop from a nice spring and another drop from the pro arms/drop forks. good handling, lower center of gravity and plenty of travel left over.
i love mine, been on my car for 3 yrs or so. great item, pretty spendy but when u take a car thats ultra low like mine yet it rides moderately nice makes a world of difference rather than bouncin around like the rest of the slammed rice ******. my car is dropped 4 inches w/ coilovers and ST forks and arms.

Yes, you lower your car, maintain your travel and you have the benefit of adjusting camber. If you all you want is a drop then I guess your fine. At least you don't need to cut your springs. But, that's where it stops.

The drop alone doesn't improve handling in of itself.

Ideally, your better off getting properly matched shocks, valved and shortened to accomodate higher spring values. Excessive camber can be adjusted by other means. It's the combination of these elements that contributes to a better handling car.

Another problem is how to replace a drop fork in case the need arises. ST doesn't make them anymore.

i had dropforks/proarms combined with Eibach Pro-Kits (1.2/1.0) and it was too low for good handling. sure the spring/strut had plenty of travel, but lacked travel room inside the fenderwell. with that combo, the upper control arm was forced up to bang the strut tower on moderate bumps. even weight transfer in a slow corner would cause them to hit the body.

so obviouisly these components aren't the best choice if you're after handling. if they can barely handle a 1" lowering spring, they won't handle much more.

they're a kick-*** product if all you care about is being super low and you're uneducated on what else you could use (to get the same effect) though.

i got the ST pro arms in back and a 3 degree camber kit in the front so i dont have any issues with tire wear. ****, my tires lasted me twice as long as tires on my accord did.
