Default my oldie but goodie

Hi every one.Ive had my 91 accord automatic for
almost 16 years and i love the heck out of it.But
just recently my s light just continually flashes
all the time.So ive replaced the tcu the vss
both lockup and shift solenoids fresh fluid the
whole works to no availe.The car has 250,000
miles and still shifts fine but i have no overdrive
help please

Passenger side kick panel, look for a two wire blue connector floating around there.
Jumper it with a wire.
Turn ignition to II(ON)
Watch the S light, D4 Light or CEL for blinking.
Long blinks are counts of tens, short blinks are counts of ones.
Record code down and report back here.

Where did You get the tcu? I know a lot of the rebuilt ones are not that well done and have to try a couple before they are good. Also did you get the same part number as a replacement?

The TCM was most likely fine, and rather than do diagnostics and find out why the S-light was blinking he threw parts at it. That is an expensive way to attempt to fix something.
TCM also monitors several engine functions. Sometimes the TCM will pop the code rather than the engine.

Yes, but it kinda sucks when people post like that and never follow up with a solution, it would help others with similar problems....
