I need some ecu ASAP
thank you. I’ll take the streets and buy a p06 if possible saving money because it’s this not that. You know but what’s else will do it? So that I’m not limiting my search. Not having proper vtech won’t affect temps or oil pressure and or limit my speed in anyway. It will put my hp to about 90 but that 90hp from the dual point never had an issue getting up to speed.
I'm guess you have to do a decent stint of driving so tow or limp mode sort of driving is not fitting for what you need.
As such I would probably stick to the P06 or P28 ECU, manual being the easiest but if auto is all that is available, you can convert it to manual with just a tiny amount of work.
I don't think any of the other OBD1 ECU's would be very viable except the JDM P08. The D15B8 ecu may struggle due to the leaner conditions it will present the motor and the D15Z1 ecu will be the same with the lean conditions as well as try and operate the vtec WAY incorrectly.
Any other OBD ecu will also cause grief for a whole plethora of reasons. So that leaves you two ECU's in either manual or auto flavor that would work decently to flawlessly for your Z6 motor.

For people telling me or other people that a obd0 ecu won’t work with obd1 or 2 and vise versa because it will run or rich or lean vtech no vtech blah blah this that and the other. They won’t even fit into each other because the connections are different so saying it will won’t work because this that and the other who cares because it simply won’t fit lmao for anyone that didn’t know lol buuuuuuuuuut my obd1 pt6 fits onto the ecu connections in the civic lol so that will be interesting let me get a battery and I’ll let you know how it goes lol
