The car is a 00 EM1 Civic in R81 Red. I had to have a small hole welded up in my engine bay. Its has a coat of primer, and now needs to be painted.

The engine bay color looks like a red primer, not the same red as the rest of the car. It is factory and has never been repainted.

Does anyone know if the engine bay is just R81 over primer and looks that way because no clear coat, or is it another color all together? I cant seem to find that information.
