Default CEL gone after a few months

A few weeks before I had the fuel lines replaced on my '99 Accord the CEL appeared. The code was P1457, not surprising since I believe it's a somewhat common (but unfortunately hard to troubleshoot) code, especially since it involves the fuel system. After the fuel lines were replaced the shop turned off the light. About a week later it reappeared and was on since September. Today I noticed it was off. Could it be a burnt out lamp? I wouldn't think something like the P1457 would have resolved itself as it involves various fuel system components. If I recall the code activates after 2 failures of the gas fume cycle, I expect the CEL to return, didn't expect it to turn off.

Turn the ignition to II(ON) does the CEL lamp come on at prove out and go out when the engine starts?
If it does then it has self resolved.
If it doesn't come on at all the lamp is most likely blown.
Which engine do you have?

Turned the ignition to ON without starting. The CEL light along with the Maintenance Required light turn on for a couple seconds then turn off. It appears then, surprisingly the lamp is good. I have the 2.3L engine.
