1993 Honda Civic hatch fuse 24 issue
Hey everyone! I have a 93 Honda hatchback with a b20b swap. I've had an issue recently where fuse 24 would blow while driving. I would put a new fuse in and I'd be good. Recently I went over a hard bump and now every time I put a fuse in it blows instantly. I've checked the ECU, the wires, the pgmfi relay everything looks good. It doesn't blow when the pgmfi relay is unplugged. I don't believe it's the fuel pump as its a newer walboro 455 fuel pump and it has worked before after the fuse blew. Could it be a ground in the fuel tank I'm missing? Any help would be great. I'm out of a car right now

I assume the fuse blows only when the key is turned to ON(II). If so:
- Unplug the fuel pump.
- Install a new fuse 24.
- Turn key to ON(II).
- Does fuse 24 still blow?
I was really hoping against that as I can't afford a fuel pump right now. Especially not another walboro fuel pump like the one in it. Could I maybe have jarred a wire loose inside the tank or is it just bad?

No. It was out of reach of the pump cover. It just looks like when the pump was installed they did a bad job with the crimping because the wire was frayed on one side of the crimp, exposing it to the metal gas tank. I re crimped the wire and insulated it. Fixed the issue completely

I'm not sure. I shoulda taken a picture. It was just 2 halves of the ground wire were crimped together. Maybe the extended the ground wire due to the larger fuel pump and where the ground was.
