Default Suspension Opinion

So I've already swapped out the suspension with Koni Orange Struts with Eibach pro kit Lowering springs all around. I also had the control arm bushings replaced with those stiffer polyurethane bushings.

About 50k miles, I'm getting squeaking all the time and the struts seem like they died as my ride is almost too stiff?

The shop who installed this, was a complete hack, and I know for sure all hardware was reused except for the actual spring/strut. Car has 200k miles.

I think I'm going to pull out the strut assemblies and replace all the hardware that goes along with the struts first before I go buying new struts?

Items 2, 7, 8, 9, and 10 from the diagram below.

This sound like a decent approach? Should I stick OE with this or go aftermarket on some of those pieces?
Is there an easy way to test your struts while I have everything disassembled?

Well then I gotta keep the car on jack stands for at least 2 weeks.
My buddy had a pair that went prematurely too. Also I'm a little worried about the install, coilovers would come with all new hardware and whatnot so I know everything good.
Think I'm going to have a shop look at it and get their input on what's wrong, might be something else entirely

Did you replace the strut bearings and mounts? That was the cause of suspension noises on my brother's 7th gen. Did new front shocks, and didn't change out the 150k+ mile old strut bearings and mounts and still had noises.

IMO, I rather stick with the koni oranges over racelands.

I did not replace the strut bearings or mounts.

Honestly I'm not familiar with what either of those really are. Do strut bearings come with strut mounts? I'll plan to replace those come spring and see if there's anything else going on

It's weird cause when I push on the car to test the struts, I can't even feel any give. Just solid. Is this typical it you're "riding on springs"?

Been too long. These were put on like 4-5yrs ago. So no warranty.

I'm not even 100% sure it's the struts that are bad.
