Looking for companies like Japanese Classics LLC, or DuncanImports that may stock EG6, Si, or SiR models that have already gone through the import and USA registration process.

Anywhere in the country is fine, I know there are some smaller import shops out there I may not be picking up in Google searches. If anyone know of any around the country let me know, not many places stock Civics. Now that 2020 is around the corner, even 1995 Civics are meeting the 25 year import requirement.

I'm just curious to see what's out there. We're getting to a point where USDM 5th gens, in prime condition, are routinely selling for $13K->$18K. I can't imagine an imported stock (or mostly stock) 5th gen would cost much more. Seems like a lot of import shops aren't really stocking them, however. I have seen some here and there being sold though.

Decided that rather than spending $3K->$4K cleaning up the body of a crusty local shell, it'd be more fun and almost make more sense financially pony'ing up and dropping the cash on a complete, clean, and legitimate EG6.

Edit: Found a few more companies, mostly in the Florida area. JapStarImports has a few VTI models in the ~$8000 range.

Rhd Specialties in Washington, REW in Orlando, . Just to name a couple Now Idk if any of these have 4-5g civic’s in stock right this moment, but they can certainly get them if you contact and put down a retainer/deposit. There are a couple more but I just cant think of their names.

 

Thanks for adding to the list. I'm planning on calling a few of these companies after new years and seeing what the outlook is.

Again, I'm simply tired of working on ragged out Civics/Integras in Texas and immediately dumping an extra couple thousand into them just to undo all the hack bullshit and/or fix the body.
