Default New guy here with a Honda problem

I have a 91 honda crx..i installed new exhaust header back. The bung hole has the O2 senser directed to the fan..its too long to put there. I put under the car and it splitters from time to time..what should I do?.. Move bung hole so that it's not directed to the fan or?.. TIA for your help

So you bought a 88-00 generic header. Most of them are like that. This is the price you pay trying to save money.

What you did would be a great idea, except that's way too far back for a standard O2 sensor, and you had to extend the wire. That wire is shielded, and since you didn't specify how you did this I'll assume you just ran something like 18 primary wire. So on top of the sensor not seeing quite what it's expecting, there's probably interference on that circuit that should not be present.

This might help.
