How do you guys remove this, I've tried heating it with map gas and a big hammer. I can't seem to get anything on the back to press it out with the balljoint press or the 10 tonner.
Ok I soaked it in 50/50 acetone/autotrans fluid. I rented the ball joint adapter kit, used it with huge compressor and aircat. heated the whole thing with map gas, still not budging. I don't understand.
Did you check to be sure there isn't a c-clip on the post side of the joint.
OEM does not have the c-clips but almost all aftermarket ball joints do. If the clip is there, I could see it preventing the ball joint from breaking free as it's pressed fit plus the c-clip if it has it.

Leave it dunked in transmission fluid over night

when your compressing the ball joint c-clamp, crank down on it and tap/bang the heck out of the side of the ball joint hole
