Default Cail smog

I have d16a and wanna put dc sport headers on but how would it pass smog with out having the cat in the right spot

If you have a D16Y7 that has the cat on the header you need to use a stock cat back from a EX model, the cat and the piping to the muffler. I don't think they made a DC header for the D16Y7 engine as the cat is integrated in the manifold. And I don't think the DC carb number for the EX Vtec engine DC Header will pass on a car with a D16Y7 engine but It may be possible if you have the OEM muffler piping and cat from a EX model. Someone with experience might be able to confirm. But I just know the BAR reff is picky just like some smog shops, some don't care but some will enter the carb number in the smog data base and it may come up as a fail because the model engine is not the same.
