This is just a replacement Cat. You should pass emissions. If you want to be safe ditch the megan 4-2-1 and go with DC Sports. Now if you stick with your TEST PIPE or whatever your using you will fail.

just put a couple stock ones on, and then take them off after. and never get stuff off of ebay unless you are positive its legit, which most likely it isnt.

brand new honda oem cat cost like $300-500 good quality my oem cat lasted 70,000 miles, muffler shops sells cats that dont last that long good for a year maybe more but the dual honey comb make a difference compared to the single. they have so many different names but are made by 2 company sound stream and think the other is catco. if youre going to smog with non carb header most shops wont bother testing cause theyll get in trouble also with a non carb intake wont pass visual inspection. if you know the shop and you want to pass with your straight pipe aka test pipe you gotta spray alot of water in the throttle body during testing. cheapo cats cost like $100 installed make sure they dont cut youre B pipe flange. if i were you get some flanges welded on the new cat and keep your old cat and switch it when ever you have to smog it

btw i met a couple people who got there cars impound due to straight pipes ( with highly modified engines). those high flow cats really dont pass smog i know cause i had one before. beside that in westco CA my friend got his hood pop and they pointed something on the knocked out cat i think its a temp gauage police said he gots a straight pipe and got sent to the state referee. good luck with the smog btw obd2 cars are harder to smog since they plug that thing under the dash
