Default 98 civic (p1399 p0300/301/302/303/304 after tune up)

Well well well.. so here we go. Wife's 98 civic ex had an incident where the wire ended up like this and the spark plug was still hanging on but both weren't in the head like they shouldve been

This is the wire that killed itself

So i grabbed a wire from my 92 hatch and stuck it on her car and tightened down the plug. Car started right up. Alright sunday! I go grab new wires and plugs for the car and tune it up. I put them in and go in the house. I tell my wife "go drive it around" she goes nah, but you can take it to work tonight. I'm like ok. So fast forward. I work 3rd shift and go get in her car. I roll through the gears and start noticing a sputter. As the car warms up it gets worse. I go up a hill and I swore the car wasnt gonna make it. I get to work late 😒 and car is still running rough. So let's fast forward to monday. I get home, i try swapping plugs and wires around still the same sluggishness and I'm stumped. Clogged fuel filter? Dizzy going out? Uhhhh so I get smart and get a scan tool. Codes pop up p0135 p1399, p0300/301/302/303/304 so I'm like crap... I swapped out front O2 sensor and I'm thinking that controls how the car works right? Should be good! Wrong...
take it down the road and nope still terrible. I delete the codes and drive it again. No cel has shown just pending codes. I pull codes again and I get p1399 and p0302 so I'm thinking swap plug wires and see. Nope, worse, swap them back again. So todays tuesday. I'm at work browsing on this site and read about a guy saying he got a bad set of wires so I'm like wait....
only thing that has changed since sunday is the wires and plugs so i get home, pop the hood and look at the wires i just put on and what do i see?

Not even the same wires

Another picture

They gave me a wrong wire in the box!!! So I put on all 4 of the same and bam car runs fine!!! I cant believe one I didnt notice it but I mean geez these were supposed to be new. I'm about to head back and give them a piece of my mind. This could've been disastrous considering we just moved in our new home not long ago and need our cars in one piece and running lol
