91 Honda Accord ex f22a4 piston/con rod cap orientation?
I was curious on the direction the pistons go into the block. On one end it has an arrow and the other end it says "IN" I'm assuming "in" is intake and the arrow is for exhaust. I'd rather know for sure. Now again for the connecting rods on one side says "PTO" I think with a 3 at the end? And I believe the other end is blank. I'll have to double check that. Also as well as the caps for the rods. One side says 42 and the other says "PTO" and I think oddly one cap has a different number... Again I'll have to double check. Now the only other place I've noticed "PTO" has been on my bearing bridge or block girdle which I'm pretty sure I have placed right. The letting is on the side facing more towards the rear on the flexplate end. Do these hold some significance? At least being tied together in maybe a direction things need to be? I'll get pics in a bit to better explain my lack of explanation.
Thanks a ton. So that makes that part simple and answers the rest of the questions. I definitely put the piston on backwards. Thanks! Luckily I just installed 1 so far
