Wheels
Ok I want to swap my stock Wheels down the road here. I know the stock are 114.3 pattern with a 50+ offset. I like the XXR 531s, they come in 15's but with a 20+. Would that be an issue with rubbing or anything else?
You can get away with that but they will rub depending on your tire size and ride height. Rolling your fenders will be required if you go too low. Having a stiffer suspension will help. If it's bouncy or soft the wheel suspension will compress more and cause the wheel to travel further up. 15s look a little small and clown car-esque on these cars. I usually recommend 16s at least. If you want an easy fit that doesn't require any mods or fender rolling, usually a +30 or +35 is fine.
I have 17x8.25 +20 wheels on my car and in order to run a 235 series tire I had to basically roll all the fenders flat or they would cut into the outer tread block on medium sized bumps. When I ran a 215 it wasn't as much of an issue but I'm also on pretty aggressive suspension. See here for fitment reference.

Thanks. Not a fan of 15's just thought it would be easier to keep the same Rim size and width. Currently at stock height and haven't decided how low to go. In time I'd plan on investing in some coilovers so I have a range to play with instead of straight lowering springs. Looking into 16's on CarID...
