Default Trying to be cheap 02 accord ex

So the "boots" on my front right cv shaft are destroyed and I was wondering can I replace just the rubber or do I have to replace the whole axle?

You can dismantle the axle and replace justel the rubber boot but homestly looking at the cost of a cv axle on rockauto it is not really worth it

If the boots are shot, it’s likely the joints are gone as well. Do you want to take the chance of putting on new boots only to find the joints are bad?
