Well after a 10 year hiatus i decided to get another car. Found this neglected 1997 gsr.
was way over due on a timing belt, had a leaking oil pump, water pump leaking oil pan gasket, vtec solenoid etc. pretty much anything that could leak was leaking.
i did some much needed Maintenance on it, now I’m just replacing some of the unwanted parts.
no major plans but I figured I’d document some of it here.

Had to do a oil pan gasket, Decided to clean the block up a little while the header was off. A little better Decided to get rid of the aem v2. I picked duo a k&n intake off of eBay Also wanted to replaced the 17 inch wheels. Found some 5zigen pro racers.
In for this build! Looks like a good start. Try using steam from a clothes iron next time for removing tint. It heats the glue and makes it a breeze to remove from the glass. The glue sticks to the film too leaving almost no residue to clean/razor off.

my wife and I did the black plastic bag method on a 80+ degree day. No luck, that old tint was on there good.
