95 civic dx Main really bypass or hardwire with switches
Car is a 95 civic dx and I know it’s not a good idea that the relay is there for a reason but I keep having issues with them and I’m tired of either re-soldering or replacing them is there a way to bypass everything with a switch safely the car is not a daily and is a strictly stock race car and I’m tired of fighting the main relay at the track any help is greatly appreciated 👍🏻

Not sure we can help you with that Ford Fusion....
The wiring isn't the same for each model and trim. That relevant information is strangely absent from your post.
I apologize I just figured since I posted in the 92-00 civic/del sol thread i thought everyone would pretty think I was talking about either one but the car is a 95 civic dx I believe it’s the 4 door sedan if there isn’t a way to by pass it and put it on switches I guess I’ll deal with it but it’s frustrating having to deal with it at the track before and during a race
You said race car so there is ambiguity if there has been a swap done and what kind of swap etc.[/QUOTE
yes everything is still stock and oem as for the rules of the class I race in and It has the d15b7 motor and the only swap was done by previous owner which was the trans and I believe it’s the s40? If that is correct I’m not a Honda guy just bought the car for cheap and and now am here with what is a really common problem from what I hear and have read on here with the main relay
It's funny, it's said to be a common problem and it's something that I haven't had a problem with yet. I have one re-soldered for the day it is but so far so good.
Here is the ETM pages of the main relay for you so that you can see how you'd like to work it:
You say you are new to Honda so details you may need to know. Typically, Honda has the ECU provide ground for control. So the ECU completes circuits by grounding. The other thing you may not know is on the the last two pages it's showing "To G101". G101 is the main engine/ecu ground that is on the thermostat housing.
With the above 4 pages you should be able to see the system and decide if you wish to modify it.
What I don't know is if the ECU turns off the fuel pump during running operation ever. That seems to be the only area the ECU could potentially change when the car is running. The fuel injectors, IACV and EVAP all receive power at all times when the key is on.
Okay thankyou for the knowledge and the help I’ll see why I can get done with the info you provided me and see if I can either find where the issue is or modify it thanks man 👍🏻
