Accord cp3 v6 Power Steering issue
Hi all, hoping there are some people still on the forum that can help me out.
Had a whine coming from the power steering pump, got a second hand one from a local major second hand retailer. Replaced, bled and was fine.
Couple of days later whining again, Spoke to the parts shop who suggested that the spring clip holding the lower pressure hose could be loose, so to replace with a hose clamp and re-bleed.
Proceeded to replace clamp. Followed their bleeding procedure, but not cant seem to clear the air from the system.
Fluid is constantly bubbly and steering no longer works when the car is on and on the ground (hard to turn as if no Power steering at all). Can hear what sound like boiling (air through the fluid) as I turn. Feels like there could be air in the rack?, is this possible, and how could I remove it.
Or is my rack forked now too?

If you are reusing the O-ring for the hose that goes into the top of the power steering pump, that's your problem. There was a TSB for the O-ring. So it you didn't replace it with the pump, you should. 99 cents at my Honda dealer a few years ago.
