I am replacing the struts on my 2007 Accord V4. I did the right side without problem. When I started the left side the head of the top bolt on the wishbone clamping the strut broke. How can I get the old strut out if it is attached to the wishbone?

No. This part. The wishbone clamps on to bottom of strut and connects the control arm. I think it is called a Damper Fork.

 

probably have to drop the lower control arm out of the way, then remove the axle

remove the strut with the fork still on, then on the bench drill out the bolt of replace the fork

you are talking about the bolt that pinches the fork on the strut right ?
