Hey guys, so I know this has been asked more then a few times but i never found the answer to my exact question. Which is that i have an 05 civic reverb which comes with d17a1 motor the non vtec and its on its last legs so im looking into swapping that motor for a d17a2 with vtec. Now i know i can get standalone ecus and wire the vtec and have an ecu out of the car the vtec motors from. But if i do that will my key for my car work with the ecu from the donor car without programming. If not can i use the igniton from the donor car and run 2 keys. This may be a bit confusing. Thanks
