2005 Accord I4 not starting
I have 2005 Honda Accord which does not start.
When I turn the key to the start position I can hear the relay clicking but nothing happens.
I have tested the starter and it runs when tested with jumper cables. Did measure the voltage at the starter with starter disconnected and it seems to go up to 12VDC when key in the crank position.
Another strange thing is that I can not move the shifter out of park even with keys turned to ON. I believe I should be able to move the shifter to N or D with keys in ON position even if the car is not running?
Not sure how these two are related but it happened at the same time.
Anyone have some insight on this issue?
Thanks a lot.
