DC5 VSS code
VSS code on my DC5 won’t get into Vtec. I am running Kpro, and I also swapped a k24a2 into my 6speed type s. Not sure how to fix it, I already replaced the VSS sensor in the tranny. Any ideas?
What year DC5 ? Is the transmission from the same year car ? Did you have to change plugs when you swapped the VSS ? Did you load a TSX calibration into your K-Pro ?
o4 type s, yes I am running the same year tranny. I already swapped the sensor for a new one. And i also did upload the TSX calibration stock. I am ruining but what do you mean plugs? Like the actual connector? but no it was the same Plug Im running the 04 sensor should I have swapped it for a TSX.
Nope, the plug should be above the differential on the clutch housing case and it should NOT be changed just because you swapped in a K24A2. However, by loading up the TSX calibration, you will need to check your VSS signal input choice in the KPro software because the default in a K24A2 calibration would be utilizing a high frequency (mainshaft driven) VSS sensor, whereas, you have a low frequency differential driven VSS sensor on your transmission. Make sure the proper choice is selected.
