Default TINT Experts: please explain and advise.....

I have a black del Sol and I am trying to decide between 2 types of tint. First is Lumar (sp?) and the other is basic smoke. Could you tell me what the +/- 's are of each? BTW, it will be 35%

THX

Lummar is the best stuff you can get IMO. I've put Lummar on 4 of my past cars and I've never had any bubbles in the tint. I don't know about the other stuff, tho.

Make sure you have a professional place do it. Look at their previous work. Make usre its up to your standards. Talk to people you see with tint in your area.

Good luck.

I would also add to make sure the tint does not have too much color dye or it may change color over time. We all seen a lot of tints that turn "purple" after a while. A side from that, the most important factor is workmanship. The best tint film will not stay on if the job is no good.

Lumar is a great tint, i like solar guard my self. you shouldn't have a problem with either of those fading, its the cheap crap that usually does that. When you wash your windows with window clearners that have amonia in it has a big factor on the color changing to purple. i have used the cheap crap on a few other vehicles and it seem that they are getting better.
