Default Del sol vtec smoke radiator

hi, im new here,
i need you guys to help me out, i have my new radiator and thats the problem cause after 4 min it starts to smoke and gets real hot, but the engine tempera

ture its normal no overheatings its just the fan doenst want to turn on, i connect it to the battery and the fan runs great can you tell me why this happening?

Get a test ligt and see if you have power on the wire to the fan when it reaches normal operating temp you can either back probe the hot wire on the plug use a T pin, almost sure you do not. Feel the top hose when it gets hot and see if the bottom hose does too(it should) once car reaches normal operating temp. There is themo switch that is on the thermostat cover(where the top hose connects) that should close when car is too hot(could be bad) You can unplug it and connect both pins and see if your fan turns on. The ecu is also involved in turning on the fan so: you might have a wiring problem, a bad thermo switch, ecu might be your problem.

You forgot to mention the radiator fan relay that is part of the circuit. Thermo switch, fan, relay and ECU all make up that circuit.

bleed system at idle, it will take a while to get the fan to kick but it should kick on. If you're in colder climate it might take longer.
