Default 2008 Hinda Element

My daughter has a 2008 Element. She called me the other day to complain that she thought it was taking too long to start. I quizzed her a bit and it sounds like it's cranking normally, just not starting as quickly as before. She says that once it starts it runs fine. My experience with fuel pumps is that they work until they fail so I don't think it's a fuel pump problem, but it seems like some sort of a fuel delivery issue.

Anyone have any thoughts? She's bringing it over in a couple days to have me look at it and I have a few ideas of things to try but looking for some suggestions.

It could just be the battery... see a lot of that when it gets cold out. Id just get it tested or something.
