Default Oil leak

Hey guys just looking to see if you would agree this is leaking from a cam seal? Found a puddle of oil here and I’m losing it rather quick.

I wiped it clean but circled where it was.

I found this video here - he says it’s a short cut, is this the best way to do it?

It can be a cam seal and/or valve cover gasket. On my brother's 02, I replaced the cam seal, but still experienced leaking. Due to needing an HG, I just waited and had it done the same time.

If it's the stock one, it's probably leaking. You're probably also leaking from a valve cover gasket as well.

I recommend doing the cam seal, egr gakset while you're there, and if that doesn't fix your leak, valve cover gasket.
