Default engine swap issues

Im helping a younger guy with an engine swap in a 99 civic putting in an 92 del sol engine

D16Z6 from D16Y8

but z6 distrib is 2 plugs y8 is one and y8 needs to be mounted 90 degrees out compared z6 to get any bolts in it any one ever run in to this and what did you do if you did

Might need to build a conversion harness. You are trying to put an OBD1 motor into an OBD2 car. I think OBD2b at that but there I'm not sure.

you can buy a obd1 to obd2 dizzy conversion harness on ebay
