2000 DX Sedan manual transmission rebuild kit
Greetings! My manual transmission is making a whine when I'm applying throttle, and it goes away when I push the clutch in while parked. I'm planning on replacing all of the bearings in the main and countershaft, and I was considering a set of bearings and seals from RockAuto, with the part number ZMBK386. The description on their page says it's for an HX, but I have a DX. Will it work? They don't show any other options for a DX. Thanks!
You can compare part numbers at a honda parts site such as hondapartsnow.com or check out syncrotech’s site for their rebuild kits. Sorry I don’t know the answer to your question.

Spend the money and buy a quality rebuild kit. Bearings and seals is $175 from the link above (scroll down near the bottom) - you just need to determine if you have 35mm or 40mm diff bearings. Give Synchrotech a call - they can help you pick the right kit.
