So C129 is a Grey 6pin connector that only resides on the VX model of the 5 generation civics. It's not used anywhere else in the car unlike most ever other connector in the car. So it's a one off connector that only comes on a rare trim level for the 5th generation civics.
Below view #1 is the ETM manual pictogram for the connector. Does anyone have the ETM for the 6th gen? If you do can you tell me if you have the same looking connector in your view list? If so can you tell me what connectors correspond?
I'm hoping Honda utilized that particular connector more regularly in the next generation of civics. I can find mates for every other connector in the car of the 5th gens easily, just not that one.
I'd like to be able to make use of my salvage yard instead of having to order brand new for 1 connector.

It is connector view 1. Connector C129 is a female side connector; so the terminal pin numbering is from the wire side.
Connector C129 goes to the ECM.
1 – Yellow Black – Reference voltage (connects to EGR valve lift sensor)
I understand buying new is not expensive but it's the wait for shipping etc. I'm going to my local salvage yard this weekend.
The 8th gen seems to have the similiar shaped view 6 pin on their EGR but it's the female side. I suspect Honda kept this round grey plug with narrow connect tab for their EGR's and later on they connected directly to the EGR itself while on the VX it's the engine harness (male if I recall) to tower (female).
Picture of the connector I am hoping to find locally this weekend:
The female side (tower plug) I would like to connect into:
I have the ETM, I know what wires are for what and colors etc. I am looking to make a conversion harness at the shock tower. This will save me from having to depin and repin tower connectors to accept a non VX engine for a time.
Oh, that's nice, they mention where they know it's used, That's awesome! Thank you spAdam! Quite helpful. If I don't have luck I will order from them and deal with the shipping wait times as possible duty/import taxes/delays.
@spAdam what is your secret to get the black page where they provided application use? I have clicked every link and even used the search bar with part number and have not been able to find the black page you provided the snippet of.
Lol that’s a different website. I like Corsa because they give you the manufacturer’s part numbers, but http://www.cycleterminal.com has lots of good descriptions
I can confirm this connector is used on at least the D16Y8 of the 96-00. I found it on a 97 Civic that already had a bunch of crap ripped off so this part of the harness was hanging up front. I grabbed it and tested it on a VX that I pulled the motor and trans from for a steal (even though I learned the motor knocks) and it slid into the female flawlessly.
So this rare connector for the 5th gen is a bit more common I think in the 6th gen. I'm just not sure where or what it is a connection for in the 6th gens as I don't have the ETM to see.
Actually looking at this thread by HondaPartsHero, It looks like it was for an EGR valve for a D16Y5. I saw D16Y on the block and didn't want to clean off the grease off the plate and assumed it was Y8 with the vtec solenoid. Now I think it was a vtec-e solenoid.
