Hello all, I am new to this forum. I have read several posts regarding installing the El digital gauges from a 94 to 96 prelude into a 93 model. I have a 93 model and want to do the same. Mine is a non Vtec manual transmission model. I know that I can’t use one out of an automatic version. I need to know if I can use one from a Vtec model or not. Were there non Vtec manual transmission models in 94 to 96? Thanks in advance for any help! Todd

 

Well I was able to get an answer to my question from a guy I just bought my el digital gauge from. He told me the only difference between the el digital gauge on a Vtec and non Vtec is the rpm redline. He said it was a little higher on the Vtec. Other than that it should work just fine. 😉👍

 

I was able to pick up an el digital gauge setup for my 93 Prelude. The guy I got it from said the only difference between the gauge from an Si and Vtec is that the rpm redline is a little higher on the Vtec version. I also picked up the center console with the arm rest. He had already sold the cup holder so that is still on my list to find.
